Rowico Home is a Swedish company that designs furniture for homes. Homes where everyday life takes place, where the family grows, and where friends stay.
OUR STORY
Our story begins in Halland, Sweden, back in 1971 when Roland Hammargren began to work on his dream of furnishing Swedish homes. That was the first step in a journey towards the modern furniture company Rowico Home is today. Our furniture is designed in Halmstad, drawing inspiration from Scandinavian nature, and produced in selected factories around the world. Our furniture is sold through retailers across Sweden and the rest of Europe, as well as through our webshop.
Our CEO Jessica and her brother Fredrik, Vice CEO, are the third generation of the Hammargren family to lead the company, following the principles that have been in place since its inception – simplicity, comfort, and family. Now they are taking the company forward toward a sustainable, bright, and well-designed future.

OUR HISTORY
Rowico Home was founded in 1971 by Roland Hammargren. Shortly thereafter, his son, Mikael Hammargren, also became active in the company, and in 1988 we moved to the current warehouse and office building in Halmstad. From focusing on Italian-style furniture, Rowico took the step to production in more countries, which also led to the formation of a more modern Scandinavian furniture range. In 2015, Mikael's children, Jessica and Fredrik Hammargren, also became active in the company. In 2018, Rowico took the step to become FSC certified, and in 2020 the company changed its name to Rowico Home.
FOREST AS A GUIDING STAR
Wood is our most important material and FSC® certified furniture has become our signature when developing our collections. We constantly strive to make the best possible material choices and think sustainably in everything we do. Consequently, FSC certified furniture is an essential element of our range, i.e. furniture where all timber comes from controlled forestry operations that protect nature in the best way possible.
So with sustainable choices, Scandinavian style and well-crafted, contemporary furniture, Rowico Home is helping to furnish the next generation of homes.
